Newtonsphere Energy is 100% owned and managed by Roy Meeser who has been involved in the Oil Industry in Southern Africa since 1985.

Roy initially joined Mobil which after disinvestment in South Africa became Engen Petroleum. After spending some time in various roles within Engen, Roy was head hunted by various companies on his journey in the oil industry, which mostly consisted of setting up marine business’s and establishing markets for relevant companies.

Newtonsphere Energy originally was formed as a management consulting company and has in the past been contracted to the likes of FFS Refiners, Pro Oil SA, Kepu Trading and now Thele Africa and now Eyona Energy.

Newtonsphere is busy redirecting their focus from not just consulting, but to direct supply opportunities, brokering and trading.

Newtonsphere has formed a strong alliance with Thela Africa and is marketing their full product range.

Newtonsphere will also be marketing fuel, lubricants, water treatment products, chemicals as well as helping setting up some in-port and offshore marine physical supply positions in other African ports.

Newtonsphere, amongst other many projects, is also present working with the largest independent lubricant brand in South Africa, Pro Oil, to develop a more cost efficient but quality lubricant for the SADAC region.
